Indication: Symptomatic great saphenous vein (GSV) varicose veins with confirmed saphenofemoral junction (SFJ) incompetence on duplex ultrasound. Also for skin changes, lipodermatosclerosis, or venous ulceration secondary to superficial venous insufficiency.
Patient Position: Supine with slight head-down tilt (reduces venous distension). Pre-operative marking of varicosities performed in the standing position.
